| The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the city’s: (a) roads and rights-of-way (b) parks, grounds and buildings (c) stormwater management facilities (d) trees (e) water supply and treatment facilities. The City of Lake Helen does not have sewer facilities. Septic Permits are issued by the Volusia County Health Department. Their offices and service areas are indicated on the Volusia County Website.
